Getting
to Belgium
There are plenty of activities to keep children interested and
occupied during your stay in Belgium, canal rides in Bruges,
a visit to the zoo, lovely long sandy beaches where you can hire
a variety of pedal machines to ride on the safe promenades. There
are museums in Brussels which are of interest and appeal to children
and several Theme and amusement parks in or close to Brussels.
You can choose to travel to Belgium by rail, with the high speed
rail link it takes only a couple of hours from London. Of course
you can travel via air, low cost airlines fly into Charleroi
and Brussels International so flights are inexpensive. Lastly
of course, by sea and either the traditional ferry via Ostend,
Dunkirk or Calais, you can also try the fast Seacat ferries which
reduce crossing time.
In summary, it has never been easier or more fulfilling to travel,
get to, visit and stay in Belgium. If you have not done before,
get to know Belgium, it is one of the nicest places you can visit.
